(An-Nahl) 16 : 60

For those who don’t believe in the Hereafter have the evil parable, and for Allah is the highest parable; and He is the Exalted, the Wise.

Adhikr is revealed to introduce Allah as the Lord of the universe. The believer is commanded to say through verses 112: 1-4: “He is Allah, the One and Only. Allah, the Eternal Absolute (He does not depend on anyone while everyone depends on Him). He no begets, nor is He begotten. There is none just like Him”. And it is told in verse 42: 11 that, there is nothing just like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.

Today, the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who hide and reject Adhikr are reading these verses. By preferring bodily and worldly life to the soul and Hereafter, they are attributing patrons and intercede to the Lord. They are compared to a dog that doesn’t change its attitude whether disturbed or not as explained in verses 7: 175-176. They are compared to the burden-carrying donkeys who never realize what they are carrying as told in verse 62: 5. These worst creatures will be resurrected as swine in Hell as explained in verse 5: 60. The believer is commanded to say these Fujjar through verse 14: 30: “You enjoy here a little, indeed your return is into the Fire”. Verses 25: 17- 18 say: “On the Day of Judgment, Lord will summon the Mushriks along with whoever they had been invoking besides Him and will ask: ‘Are you the ones who led these servants of Me astray, or did they stray themselves?’ Those whom the Mushriks invoked besides Lord will reply: ‘Glory is to You! We could never take on any patron besides You! However, You let them and their forefathers enjoy things until they forget Adhikr, and they became worthless people’”. See explanation 2: 159-161, 255; 11: 19 and 16: 27.
